Gyms Members Roadmap About Get early access
The why

Gyms don't have a software problem. They have a showing-up problem.

Hi, I'm John. I'm 23, I'm a software engineer in London, and I've spent more hours in gyms than in meetings. If you know software, that's saying something.

Wellfy started with a pattern I kept clocking from the squat rack. Someone joins in January, full of intent. They turn up for three weeks. Then twice a week. Then once. Then the membership quietly bleeds money until they finally cancel, and the gym never saw it coming, because nothing they use measures whether anyone is showing up. Billing knows who's paying. Nothing knows who's drifting.

The moment a member cancels is the least interesting moment in their churn. Everything that mattered happened weeks earlier.

Meanwhile my phone was full of apps that had cracked consistency for everything except the gym. Duolingo had me protective over a streak in a language I can barely speak. Strava made strangers' Tuesday runs feel like events. The mechanics clearly work. Nobody had pointed them at the place consistency matters most.

So Wellfy is both halves of that. An app that makes training social and a bit of a game for members, and the quiet engine that finally gives gyms eyes on who's drifting. Free for gyms, free for members, paid for by the people who choose to upgrade. I'm building it in public because that's the sort of company I'd want to root for.

What we stand for

Principles, not posters.

01

Member-first, always

If members don't love it, none of the rest matters. Every feature gets judged on one thing: does it help someone turn up tomorrow.

02

Honest by default

Free means free. The roadmap is public, the changelog is real, and we don't quote retention stats we can't prove.

03

Community-driven

Built in public, shaped by the people who use it. The best feature requests come from the gym floor, not the boardroom.
